Too many who have found their way to Abraxas share a story similar to theirs, and it can't be easy for any of them to talk about. Link, however, has yet to truly grasp that he - and Zelda, now that she is here - are not still standing completely alone in this regard, just like they always have been.

They're a long way from Hyrule. Where would they find someone else who understands their story?

His eyes dart to Wanda when she asks, but he quickly looks away when he sees that her eyes are on him. It's easier to pretend he didn't notice her studying him, just as he pretends that the heat he feels on he back of his neck is the steam from the milk, and that the crease between his brows was put there by his concentration on the task the farmer gave him.

No vat of hot milk has ever been so thoroughly or diligently stirred in the history of Solvunn.

"The prophesy said there were only two who could truly stop him. The Princess and her knight. The Hero."

Unconsciously, he touches one of the scars on his chest, well-hidden by his tunic - he thinks even Zelda doesn't know that most of them are there. Some still ache when he thinks about them. That one, especially.
