[Were anyone to ask Hythlodaeus what exactly he was doing within the baths at this hour, his answer would be simple.
Privacy.
The peace summit had a large number of attendees, and Hythlodaeus, simply from habit, still had certain sensibilities- namely a general distaste toward vainglory in thought, appearance, or deed. Habit, more than anything else. He knows, well, that the other aspects toward his dress, a cloak and a mask- had no meaning here. Solvunn was a community, yes. It seemed to hold similar aspects to Amaurot- at least societally, on an utterly insignificant level- Yet these aspects were surface level at best. Solvunn, for all of the quirk and peculiarity it held, was not what he had loved. As for his place within it...
He'd found himself quite undecided. And he, of course, had deferred to a judgment of a certain friend far more capable. Contented himself with it, actually. For whatever path he chose, he would be alongside, and they would not be separated again. That was his place.
So. While these days he did go about maskless (for he had no mask. Were he to have one, he would still have no station. Explaining it, also, would teeter close to what he judged as pridefulness) a dark cowl- simply for his own comfort- rests within arm's reach of where he bathes.
He is here in the small hours of the morning- some hours after the last of the (louder) drunks had sought their tents, thankfully, blissfully, alone. Until he is not.
Within the daylight hours, so many souls had been about and around, he had not noticed this one, as familiar as it was. And it signals things for him. Hermes, of course- for as long departed as anything resembling that man was, the sight of that soul still triggered memories- yet more prudently, he knew it as the one that had ended Zodiark to still his own suffering.
The irony of that one, repeated ironies actually, would never cease to have him think. Still. He would require a response, would he not? So...]
You are more than welcome.
[And as he moves his gaze away, he feels he should at least check on whether the recognition was mutual.]
