[ sam does see the slight nod of geralt’s head, the acknowledging hum, small acceptances of sam’s lighter grins and teasing words. it has sam nodding, even though he’s sure geralt knew it was him before he was anywhere near the pools themselves, and settling into his seat in the pool. geralt takes the bottle and sam doesn’t even react,
almost as if he’d known it would happen, and instead lets out a long, content sigh.

yes, it feels a lot like it’s the first time he’s sat down all day. no, he doesn’t really want to comment on it. geralt comment gets a snort out of sam, even as he leans his head back against the edge of the pool and closes his eyes. ] Not enough, so thank god there are two more days of this.
