[ sam should know it's coming, should know what geralt's going to say before it even leaves his mouth, because sam mentions his never-ending twenty-four hours and geralt smiles (because that's what it is, no matter how small the curve might be. geralt might as well have laughed at sam, for all that communicates). sam, already knowing what geralt's going to say, lets out a dramatic sigh and rolls his eyes just enough to let geralt know yes, yes it was the other side. and there's no judgement behind it, of course there isn't, but also he still will give the other shit for it all the same. ]
