I do have to ask, have there been experiments with putting any spells into the cane itself to ease mobility? Either through the forging process itself or afterwards via inscriptions. I've been working with these things lately. [And want to gently throw something out there, just in case. Alucard's not going to interfere, but he isn't above a suggestion.
