"Well...I know Solvunn's belief system even though I live in Thorne. They worship a variety of gods that symbolize different aspects of nature and life. Thorne...to be quite honest, I think they just worship magic." Mat lives there, he spends his time among Thornean people and if they have any belief system that amounts to religion...

"Arcana's important, I think that plays into it. But some peoples...just don't have a structured religion. My people don't have one. We had no real shrines or places of worship, just some natural places considered sacred. No feast days to any deities, we just celebrated nature and yearly milestones. Harvest, the melting of the snow, the first crops...and no set guidebook on how to live. But I suppose our 'gods' aren't what folks here would think of."

They are without name or shape, they are things and ideals, forces without an identity. The Light, the Wheel, the Tree.

"And if you ask me, everyone ought leave the Singularity alone. Folks fucked with the source of magic in my world thousands of years ago and now it's still all fucked up."
