It's not just for me, I plan on persuading my partner to try some.

[ Jayce has a tendency to caretake and while they don't need food here, he's found it pretty tasty and interesting. Worth encouraging Viktor to try something new, and for once not have it being him anxiously making certain he's eating enough. Which annoys his friend sometimes. He smiles warmly at her though, and sets his plate down for a moment. ]

It tastes real, which is fun, but I completely agree. I've been fascinated by the level of both mental control and adaptive patterns the Horizon seems to react to. What we imagine is created, but it's impossible for us to imagine every single detail, so it has to have the ability to parse and fill in our unconscious knowledge. Theoretically.

[ Jayce has a way of very enthusiastically talking, sometimes with his hands which is why it's best his plate is down as he's sometimes been guilty of dumping things by accident. He is a scientist so theoreticals are his bread and butter, and while there is definitely magic going on here, he's someone who sees technology and magic as partners, not opposites. How the Singularity and the Horizon works is of particular interest, even if it is sometimes a concern, like the memory sharing. ]

And there go my manners, I'm Jayce Talis, also arrived at the same time. I'm a scientist so I can really ramble.

[ He also is the person who raised his hand during the Q&A conversation each time he wanted to speak, like a good former student, and brought up needing to make certain they thoroughly investigate the Singularity scientifically and take notes and readings to back up the theory going around that it may be sucking the world into it. Probably a daunting subject, but Jayce isn't daunted, he's intrigued and already thinking about what it would take to make it happen. ]

But for example, if you think about it, if this was entirely about Sam's control of the place, he would have to be focused at all times on keeping his domain, but he doesn't have to, because the Horizon adapts and holds it.
