Why does he smile at herβ€”? Did she completely misread the message he had sent her right after removing him from the Horizon? No, he had certainly promised her death. A warrior's death.

Her shoulders are tense, more so in confusion, in the same breadth that he relaxes.

It is only begrudgingly, when she notices that there is no intent to deceive nor to fight her, that Wanda hesitantly walks closer. This emulates their first meeting so much that Wanda gets a strong sense of deja vu. She is still wary, but unlike their first meeting, she will not be having a drink, no matter that he insists. It's simply not her kind of approach to social interactions.

She does not mind that he calls her by her moniker, and perhaps it even frees her from some of the louder concerns in the back of her mind. There's respect in his voice, isn't there? Perhaps she did misconstrue the intent of his message.

"He and I are from the same world," it seems important to say, that Goro recognizes that for what it isβ€”that Sam Wilson is not someone he should think of messing with, not even to try and instigate a fight with her. "We're friends."

Her arms crossed, she leans against a nearby counter, her eyes on him. Now, to pick at Goro's brain about this stuff can result in either a very obvious answer or an unexpected one.

"What do you think about what he had to say?"
