"That's good." she nods quietly, watching him curiously. "It was hard, my first few months," she admits with a slight frown. "I think finding people to connect with helped the most." Especially when she moved from Solvunn to Cadens. She had somehow gained one friend and lost another in the same breath, and it had set her on a bit of a spin.

She looks up at him again. "Have you found that yet? Or people you know from home?" She has Jepser, for that last bit, but he's the only one now. It's part of why they come as nearly a package deal, and why nearly anyone who is ever in downtown Cadens knows where one of them goes the other will follow.
