[ She listens to the story attentively. It sounds partially mythical, like maybe not all the details made it through history, which is normal. But more than that, it sounds like maybe this man (if that's what he was) tried to open a gate. Maybe the rock stopped existing because of whatever he did. From what she understands, it's most likely that neither Geralt's demon nor her own intended to get stuck once they came through the monoliths, and possibly didn't even mean to open them in the first place. Maybe the gateways were destroyed and they couldn't get back, either because they didn't know how or they couldn't find another gate.

It's too complicated, has too many elements that she hadn't even known were real until a few months ago. She's not the one to help figure it out, except for the fact that she's one of only two living people who knows about what happened in her world.

With a smirk, she reaches out for his hand again. Julie is almost positive that, if the Singularity wanted to hurt any of them, it wouldn't need to wait until they actually walked up to it. Seems a little limited. She rolls her shoulder in an easy shrug. ]

I dunno. Guess I'll have to cross that bridge when I get there. But I reckon it's better to know and have to figure out how than to not know at all. Maybe it doesn't want anything. Maybe it just wants us to listen.
