And if it turns out it is aware but not malicious, good, he'll be Team Singularity. He's Team Julie either way.

He focuses on her and what she's saying, what it may mean. This place functions differently for her than it does for the rest of them. She's different. She feels it always, more so than powerful mages. That is interesting. It is a little headache-inducing, so he can only imagine how it feels for her being in the middle of it. He wonders a bit if that's how living Saints feel, how Alina felt, born for greatness. ]

It means you're special, Julie. Even if you don't know if it's in a good or bad way, it's still the truth. You're connected. Maybe it just knows that you're the most open person here to it. You want to reach out.

[ Jesper isn't saying no one else feels that way, but it is important to Julie, enough that she is going to make the trek to the Singularity to find out more about it. He can see why, if she feels connected to it in a way that is supernatural. ]
