Oh man, I can imagine. I wasn't in charge of managing the resources for either my house or the army, thank the gods. I'm better at strategy than running day to day operations like that, so I'm grateful to anyone who has that ability.

[ Not to mention for several people living in close quarters and in - what sounds like - sharing some kind of living arrangement. Between that and the neighbors (since Claude's figured out maybe it'd be best to leave that alone for time being) he is rather curious, and maybe that's an easier topic. ]

Upwards of a dozen people... are they all your family members, then?

[ It wouldn't be unheard of in most Fodlan families since extended family tended to live together, especially to support each other. The growing conditions being brought up is enough to distract him again when he realizes he lacks that information. Mostly. ]

That's a good question about the climate. From what I know of the country they're from it's basically a super cold tundra where nothing grows, but I'm pretty sure I remember them growing in the greenhouse at the monastery where I attended school. So... maybe somewhere in the middle? [ Claude can't help a laugh since that's just going from one extreme to the other. ] I know that's probably not much of a help, but I was also a pretty terrible gardener when in school. Even when it was my turn to water the plants whoever I was paired with usually ended up beating me to doing it since I tended to overwater everything.

That's a good question about seasons here, though. [ Now he scans the Horizon around them like it'll suddenly and magically reveal its secrets if he just looks again for the umpteenth time. Predictably, it doesn't, and he's just left to still ponder that to himself. ] I wonder if that's something we control along with everything else, from what I gather. If so and you suddenly shift it over to winter, I'll be sure to conjure up some appropriate clothing first. I'm more of a warmer weather guy myself.
