[ The fact that the wolf only begrudgingly seems to allow her behavior is what drives her to do it. It's very funny when the wolf is only putting up with it -- it's boring if he likes it. The wolf also always makes out like a bandit when she does these things (tonight was an entire platter of steaks, most of which Geralt will find back at Kaer Morhen, sent home like leftovers), so she doesn't see the harm.

It is quieter up here, although music and the fireworks are still audible. She's created a sort of muffling bubble around this space, which she thought might be useful for anyone unaccustomed to fireworks; she is aware they can be overwhelming for those who don't do well with loud noises. As it is, everyone seems to be fine, leaving just a nice, quiet area to sit and watch fireworks.

Julie looks back over her shoulder when Geralt arrives, smiles. Her elbows are propped on the railing and she has a bottle of beer loosely held in one hand. She takes a sip and nods. ]
It's nice. Better than anythin' I ever went to back home. This kinda thing would cost tens of thousands of dollars if I had to pay for it. I thought it would be a good idea after everythin'.

[ Her tone suggests that maybe she is not fully satisfied by the result, but it's in an introspective way. No amount of alcohol and grilled meat and fireworks can erase what they've all been through in the past few months. The longer she stays in Abraxas, the harder it gets to drown out the horror with indulgence. ]
