"Yeah, you sound like the sort of person a magic world in need would reach out for." As opposed to...some others. Herself included. "That's...it's weird, with everything I've seen and experienced, I never thought about superheroes being real anywhere. This is probably just a Tuesday for you, huh?"

Crazy stuff always happened to superheroes. They save the universe on a regular basis.

She almost makes a morbid 'finally I'm in the one percent' joke, but she doubts Homelander would get it. "I'm from a nice little town in New Hampshire - or it was nice, before the end of the world. Which still strikes her to think about, when she finds herself thinking about it.
