It's a question Nadine has asked herself time and time again over the last day or so. Why Flagg and not her? She followed him, helped him, had killed with her own two hands. Lloyd is his right hand man, who knows what sort of sins are on his soul. But they were welcomed and Flagg was imprisoned. Maybe because of his power. Maybe they think she and Lloyd are easier to control. Maybe they fear his ambitions.

"I don't know. I don't even know why they wanted me in the first place, I'm...a pretty boring person by nature." Her destiny and status as Flagg's queen aside. "I don't have any magic, I don't have any special skills, the most remarkable thing about me is I married someone important back home. He...runs a city."

That's the safest way to put it. And it's true, Vegas is Flagg's kingdom. And hers, now, if she ever makes it there.
