With a gesture for the man to wait and not get any ideas about racing off across the tiles unsupervised, he waits for Steve to successfully get out himself before standing up. There's another sigh of relief under his breath and well-disguised within moving since why linger where none of them want to be?
With that he leads the way back, deliberately taking slow steps to remind the survivor to be careful even if all of them are eager to keep going.
