But it isn't important, so he doesn't mention it. His attention is instead on what Claude is saying. A casual enough explanation—except the part where Claude says never happened for me. Mm. Just about as. [ How does one reconcile an event that never occurred to someone you knew? It would be as though he met Jaskier, but a Jaskier who did not know him to have gone to Rinde and met Yennefer. (A Yennefer who had not betrayed him.) ]

You're saying they know you to have made a different choice.
