When he gets this deep into his abilities all he can think about is his mother and the instructions she gave him about how to use their blessing, how to let it move through you naturally rather than force it. Every time they put a branch down seconds later it melts into the makeshift wooden bridge, making it stronger, pushing further across the gap. Jesper's fingers dig into the ground as he melts and ties the matter together piece by piece.
"Thanks ... guys ...." He manages to say through gritted teeth because the more he has to grow it out, the harder the strain. Now he's solidifying it all together, the hard part not over just because it hits the other side. It has to be stable enough for all of them to go over it. Jesper looks pale by the time it is over, adding more wood than they probably need out of sheer paranoia of how large the supply weight will be on the way back. It is a strange looking bridge as it was made from many pieces of wood rather than designed perfectly, but it will work.
He's covered in sweat and gives them a thumbs up. "I'm just gonna ... for a second ...." And with that, Jesper passes out. Very heroically, in his opinion.
