Gideon takes Nixie's reins with just a hint of hesitation, glancing up at the horse uncertainly in the wake of Ciri's warning. The mare snorts, tosses her head, causes Gideon to clutch the reins tight in one sweaty palm, but then she's listening with great interest as the others peer down into the depths. There's a spike of something hot and bright inside of her at the words of consternation, and she finds herself shifting her weight restlessly, only her job of guarding Nixie preventing her from rushing over to the ravine again to get a second - more thorough - look.
She listens to Claude's sensible suggestion, even nods with gravity, like she agrees with all that has been said so far.
Then she opens her mouth.
"Or...now hear me out for a minute...if there's a monster down there maybe we should kick it's fucking ass? You know. To make sure it doesn't eat any unsuspecting travellers or whatever. It's almost like, our duty. If you think about it," but she says it with a sharp eagerness in her face that indicates her suggestion has little to do with duty.
