Istredd is usually quiet and calm, but his passion is getting the better of him now, very animated as he talks. And then Rhy says that and he smiles warmly, a rare occurrence but very sincere because of it.

So he can understand Istredd's fascination with it. He glances over at the Singularity and touches it, but to him there is nothing really there outside of some kind of vague feeling that it is not cold dead metal.
"That would make this the most important landmark connected through everything. I don't know if the Singularity's power draining means all other worlds suffer, there isn't enough empirical data to agree with that. But I think this is important."
