Damn it. Though he's bought himself a few moments, he still has to figure out what to say. He watches her hands, and how they fidget - is she worried about what he will say? He can almost recognize it as something he's seen in Alphinaud, with the boy overthinking his every mistake, as usual.

"...When I saw you in the Singularity's realm, I was speaking without perspective."

Now that he's actually speaking, he glances away. There are a lot of emotions to process, and the journey home has only provided so much time to do so.
