Not how she hoped either. She hopes nothing is getting put out of alignment--Himeka can do some basic first aid, but to be honest, she's relied so much on her actual magical healing abilities that things like setting bones are beyond her knowledge. Once again, she's reminded that her only real use is when she has her abilities.

Pleading doesn't work, so maybe she'll have to show that they will not stand around and be bullied either. (Yes, Estinien may have instigated this, but can anyone blame him? Himeka certainly doesn't.)

In a rush, she lines up next to Estinien and reaches through the bars to take hold of his arm, trying to yank it back away from the guard before he can slap another manacle on him, her tail sticking straight out behind her like a counterweight.

"Then say nothing and move on! Let us suffer and wallow in our own self-pity and you can laugh as much as you want on the other side. But let him go!"
