[ Julie has just finished checking another set of dogs in and out -- every four hours, like clockwork, the various search teams rotate through them. She's sitting cross-legged on the floor, clipboard at her side, with one of the dogs lying half across her lap as she tends to his front paw with some salve. Despite the fact that he seems to have stepped on a bit of glass while he was out, he's calm and quiet, his head resting on her thigh.
She glances over her shoulder at the familiar voice, and smiles. Every other room can certainly hear the oddly-timed bays and barks, but there's not exactly an abundance of time to double-check on the "rejects" when they have their own keepers. ]
Hey Sugarplum. Surprised Nadine let you set foot through the portal. [ She cooes at the hound that approaches her with him, reaches out with one hand to scratch her ear. ] Nothin' wrong with bein' a little skittish. Plus, you'll never get your little feets all ripped up like these guys, will you? No.
[ She glances back up at Jaskier. ] Careful you don't fall in love. Y'all's place can't handle an animal her size.
