It certainly sounds like they have a lot in common, provided “Geth” and “Reapers” are just other words for different types of machines. The comment about people, too, resonates with Aloy—for as much as she’s out in the wilds fighting whatever Hephaestus throws at her, more often than not it’s just people. She wishes it weren’t.

“Not surprised at all, actually.”

The appearance of a human-shaped machine is a little surprising. She’s so used to Gaia’s proclivity for animals and megafauna that the thought of a bipedal machine hasn’t really occurred to her.

“I hunt machines. They’re not really human-shaped, though.”
