[ While Thancred would have been willing to hop down into the mess in order to collect Himeka if she hadn't been able to stand from the pool of pink sludge on her own, she does manage. He crouches down as she approaches, making it easier for her to take his hand. As soon as they make contact, he grips hard and pulls her up.

Thankfully, she's rather light, even with that tail of hers.

Once Himeka's up on slightly higher ground with him, Thancred watches her carefully for a few seconds. He knows that physical contact right now can cause strange effects, and is half-expecting her to blurt out a secret.

Instead, she asks a question and he scoffs and shakes his head, looking mildly offended. ]

Please. This isn't mine. Honestly, I'm not certain it's anyone's. I've seen a lot of strange things in the Horizon as of late. I've been thrown a lot of strange places, as well.

[ He casts a glance down to the ooze down below, how it bubbles and slowly seems to be gaining height. ]

We can't stay here. [ He nods to the imposing tower some fifty yalms away from them. If they don't want to be swallowed up, they'll need to make for it, and soon. ]
