This feels like a trap.

[Pleasant senses, designed to beguile and fool the rational mind. Memories of his master Al Mualim, who was rumored to have used drugs to do the same and is dead now by Altaïr's hand, rise up and he frowns slightly.

It is at this point that another oddity emerges, but only in Alucard's mind, not in this close-to-real maze they walk together. This close now, Altaïr's presence stirs something. The finality of death settles down upon him, and whether or not what he sees could ever be real, it feels like it is.]
