Lucifer shakes off his arm like the blood itself is an offense, staring over at the body of the only wolf to remain. He should just go before any unwanted company shows up, but he can't help but to check the relocked door. Tries again to do what he had done the first time, but the magic is already expended. Or... it's there, he can feel it, but it's regenerating.

He takes one last look at the wolf, half expecting it to rise like the dead around Abraxas, and then makes for the stairs.

He doesn't stay long. A quick once-over of the domain's basic layout.

But then while he's holding his left hand over his bleeding bite wound, he gets distracted by the tree, and the eerie medallions silently hanging. This has more meaning than he thinks the odd basement does.

He steps up to it, careful to not get any of his nor Geralt's blood on the tree, a strange balance of respect for it--coming from him, anyway. He still finds a small, hard-to-see part of the trunk, easily hidden behind the hung medallions. After wiping off the blade on his shirt, he carves the same Devil's Fork that he had at the Roadhouse. Doesn't question why this tiny act of defiance is something he's apparently doing now.

Maybe this one will last longer than his first.

He pulls away, admires the tree once more, and then vanishes from the Horizon entirely.
