[wanda shrugs her shoulders at his questions. there's no real telling what is and isn't; solvunn keeps its secrets close to its chest, even with the way the summoned are treated there as something auspicious, there is still a sense that they aren't entirely let in the fold of their more secretive practices.

it makes wanda wonder if those in solvunn outside of the council are aware of them after all.]

A response. [well, it was hardly a response.] Something pointed us to a new direction. We're looking into it. Travel in Solvunn takes a while.

[does steve know that thor is gone? her expression pinches in concern for a moment before she walks past steve and looks around this uninhabited apartment. it's the same as the rest, but different; it's a little more sparse, too, but wanda draws her interest towards the books on the shelves, arms crossed tightly in front of her. none of these books offer anything of interest, anything revealing of where they are. it feels like reading in a dreamβ€”nothing sticks in her mind after glancing at the words.]

Did many die in Libertas? I imagine there were a lot of injured, and a lot of destruction. [she's glancing from one book to the other, to no avail. she turns back to steve.] Thorne's harvests were destroyed. Fear, uncertainty, discontent. Many things can feed rituals.

[β€”but, again, suppositions. she shrugs.]

This doesn't feel like it's about the war to me.
