Istredd hasn't experience any of them, he is a recent addition. This is his first experience with things going strangely, and while it's been mostly irritating or frustrating for him, he can see the harm it's having on the people around him. And sometimes feeling helpless is the worst thing for him. What is the point of being brilliant if you can't actually do anything? A question he's had for a long time.
