It’s a silly, innocuous confession, though the way she says it gives Viktor pause. Clearly something about this is distressing her, and though upon closer inspection it seems like an ordinary mirror, Viktor knows by now that he can’t take anything at face value when the Singularity might be involved. Still, he does a cursory, physical check, looking around the side of it, using the best of his magical ability to determine whether or not it has any specific properties.

No, the mirror is ordinary, which leads him to believe that whatever’s going on, it stems from Jo herself.

“Perhaps you’re seeing them everywhere because you’re seeking them out.”

Not on purpose, of course. He’s been here long enough to know that magic can be insidious, and the Singularity has inscrutable motives and surprising powers. In lieu of an actual solution, he can at least remove the thing that’s aggravating her paranoia. Viktor leans heavily to one side and lifts the mirror off the wall with his free hand, seemingly unbothered that it doesn’t belong to him.

“I’ll put it away. Try not to look, for the time being.”

He understands that may be a tall order, given what seems to be going on, but she’s never struck him as particularly weak-willed.
