Viktor doesn't want to be carried--Viktor wants Jayce to stay here with him, because he made a promise. If he can't do this, when they're ostensibly not in any real danger (well, he can't be sure of that, but his apathy makes him largely unconcerned, at the moment), how can Viktor trust him to fulfill his most important request, if the time comes?
