[ It would be an odd thing for anyone who wasn’t Eddie Munson to say, but the comparison to a metal legend is the highest possible compliment from him. It’s his way of saying how much he really respects Steve, how he acknowledges how much he’s been through, that he finds the fact that he’s still standing incredibly impressive.

Basically, Steve is on the same level as some of Eddie’s favorite people, and that’s a level that not many people are lucky enough to reach. ]

He’s recently received the gift of a iPod full of music—music he knows, and music he’ll never get to hear back home. He doesn’t know what an iPod actually is, but he knows it’s currently one of his most cherished possessions, and the key to musical knowledge for Steve.
