Once again, Viktor isn't given any room to argue. He's usually good at taking the hammer in stride, but the light and the noise and the sudden use of it as a canon takes him by surprise, and he finds himself cowering and covering his ears as Jayce uses it to literally blast holes in the wall. Viktor doubts this is going to be the solution--he gets the sense that they won't be free of this until the Singularity decides it for them, but he knows that Jayce desperately wants to be useful.
