The good news is that Viktor is good at acting like he’s allowed places (even when he’s definitely not), so he does as she instructs, staying close and otherwise doing his best to appear very focused on getting to where they’re going. It works—they’re not interrupted, probably because the fleeing staff and students are more concerned with getting away from the walking dead.
