The hold that Adlewyrd has on him is still present, even here, but seems to be less prevalent than when "awake." As if the Horizon has a means of weakening that connection, at least some of the time.
It had been nice to have some manner of respite from the invasive thoughts and the effects he's had on others around him, but he can't remain here indefinitely.
Yet when he expects to come to in his room in Thorne's castle town, he instead finds himself closed in by tall stone walls that seem to extend endlessly in either direction. Has he stumbled into another's domain, as he had with Alucard?
Once more, he tries to concentrate on leaving the Horizon, but it almost feels as if there's some mental block preventing it. He lets out a groan under his breath. ] What's this now...
