Though not quite his usual self, Lucifer is apparently at ease enough to push boundaries. He didn't miss this side of brother. Michael says nothing about the ruined shaker, but he takes a moment to point a familiar glare at Lucifer. Really?

For the time being, he files away the fact that Lucifer has someone within Solvunn feeding him information. He could make a few guesses as to their identity, but what Lucifer had been anticipating from him might tell him more.

"I'll admit I wasn't expecting you at all," he says. "What version of me did you think you'd find?"

He can see why his brother wouldn't expect to meet him from later in the timeline. Lucifer has never believed he'd lose.
