The voice is familiar, and this would not be the first time Thancred had ended up trapped somewhere in the Horizon with Geralt. (If an unending staircase counted as being trapped, that is...)

There is some relief in finding that it's someone he knows, as well as someone he believes to be competent. They'll find their way out of here in time. ]

[ It's not that Thancred isn't quite agile, but there aren't much in the way of footholds, and he is only human. Geralt is something more. ]
