It's a little annoying that their Father took Lucifer's one and only trick (as Sam was gun-ho to remind him), especially since Lucifer's most recent play had been reckless-abandonment destruction versus any well thought out plan.
It just... it seems cheap. And sours Lucifer's own desire for destruction. Short-lived, sure. It'll creep back in as it always, always does.
"Or he just goes to be squirrely in Cadens and with neither aware he's here," Lucifer mumbles. "I mean you've been here, what," he hums, "last Summoning... so, three months or so?" He claps his hands. "And I had no idea! Until little after Nocwich. I mean that's... just great..."
If there was a pendulum for where Lucifer's emotions kept swinging back and forth rapidly between, it would be anger on one end, indifference in the middle, and unnerved on the other end. A constant metal sphere clinking, clinking, clinking.
"It seemed like a joke at first," he says, voice distant. His body is still once more, his head cocked to the side, eyes staring unblinking at a diner wall like he could see through it to the odd Cage structure beyond. He lulls, "I had a demon named Abraxas, you know. Seemed soooo fitting to be a joke, but..."
