I mean--not to sound ungrateful because I'm totally not. It’s just not really where I saw myself, you know? Where I come from back home, it’s like...ninety percent farms and you spend half your life trying to get away from it.
[ He does wonder what the Free Cities and Thorne are like, but he’s found that he’s actually relatively happy where he is. He wouldn’t choose the pastoral life if he had to do it again, but he’s made friends in Solvunn; people who accepted him openly and quickly and who he would be hate to leave behind. ]
But I like the people. Way more than I liked anyone back home, so it’s kind of worth putting up with the bits I don’t care too much for.
