Michael follows the look and sees nothing. Just diner wall. He looks back to Lucifer, questioning, but if his brother's week has borne any resemblance to his, he can guess what kind of visions are haunting him. Perhaps the Singularity has saddled him with something even worse.

Lucifer'll bring it up himself if he cares to talk about it. He's never been shy about speaking up.

"Your prison, not mine." Which is. Not an answer. But since when does the archangel Michael answer to anyone but God? And these days, even that...

The truth is that the Cage, the diner, the church—they're all places where the memory of Adam lingers, and in the company of his vessel is the last time Michael can recall feeling at peace. He'll be damned (again) if he gives up a thought that vulnerable to someone like Lucifer, though. His history with Lucifer is already an open wound. He isn't going to offer him salt on top of it.

"The recent disruptions to the Horizon have put it front and centre, though I did find it was effective at warding off unwanted guests." He gives Lucifer a slight, disapproving frown. Except you. "You'd recognize the rest. Scenes from home."
