Istredd greets this strange situation with his characteristic curiosity. He hates when it affects other people, so he has been avoiding contact as much as possible. He has his notebook spread in front of him with a lot of details of what he's felt and seen so far, although only what he himself knows. He'll have to ask others once their minds settle a bit. It has been harder in the castle. There's a lot of noise and his mental shields are strong, but not so strong when the angst is everywhere.
He did try to go to the Horizon but he couldn't get to his own domain. He kept jumping to others, most he's never seen before, and whenever he tried to get to his, he'd end up somewhere else. He can see the monolith always, it's very distinct, but something is always in the way. He can't get to the Singularity either, and he ends up stuck somewhere else. An endless labyrinth. Everywhere he turns it changes until he is right back where he started. He doesn't think it is a nightmare and no matter how he searches, he remains lost. He doesn't know if it's been hours or minutes (the former) as time doesn't make sense, and he tries to use his psychic abilities to push against what is happening.
It probably isn't the mention of Yennefer that finally snaps him out of it, he doesn't know what did. Istredd snaps out of it and he really reacts, sitting up abruptly, gasping for air. He literally falls off the bed, having no idea where he is at first, a very inelegant crash to the floor.
"What the fuck?" He rarely swears but this is one of those times it seems very, very necessary.
