[ Thancred doesn't receive much of a response, but he's learned by now this is typical. It isn't that Geralt won't speak, but he doesn't waste his breath when it's not necessary.

He watches as the wall between them actually grows taller, which is rather counterintuitive from where he's standing. Yet he's already observed how the Horizon is not responding to their whims quite as it should, so it could be as simple as that.

Either way, he can hear the scuffling noises of Geralt scaling the wall, and sends him a wave as soon as he sees him appear up top. Geralt smartly takes his opportunity to get a lay of the land, and soon enough joins Thancred back on solid ground. ]
