If he wants a drink he'll usually just stop in at the Sarstina, seeing it as a way to check in on other Summoned at the same time. Not that he's much of a drinker in the first place — there's little point for him.
As he passes this particular tavern, though, someone barges out of the door, seeming to have realized that there's trouble building inside and therefore wanting to get while the getting's good.
It's been happening all week. The city's overwhelmed with refugees from Libertas and while they've officially been welcomed, day-to-day interactions can still be the source of trouble. He catches only a glimpse inside, but that's enough to tell him that tempers are mounting and that a fight could break out.
Is this his business? No. If it were just a bar fight over something innocuous, he might not have stepped in. But with the backdrop of Cadens natives feeling resentful of the refugees, he doesn't want to just ignore it.
So he steps inside, catching the door before it swings closed. ]
