They seem to be, relatively. Then again, home was never all that 'safe', either. There's apparently at least one in Thorne, although it's not someone I know very well.

And considering the mages here have been giving me the impression they view us as soldiers, I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what they thought we would do. Rather naive of them, in my opinion. But they don't seem to be forcing the issue. [ Yet. ] So I'm not going to complain too much about it.
