[ Bigger? That makes sense. At that size it looked more like a single camper, but the thought of a large ship traveling through an endless night sky does sound like fantasy to her. Somehow it is even more magical to realize that it is a reality somewhere for someone. ]
That's amazing.
[ She says with no small amount of awe. She has been to a place of endless daylight, but never one of unending night. And with no ground to stand on... ]
How do you know which way is up if the sky is all around you?
[ Maybe it doesn't matter? In Horizon the laws of physics seem to be whatever they want them to be. Does which way his Roci is pointed designate where up and down are?
As for her crystal, Himeka looks a little sheepish. ]
No, not quite. What Mitera was is known as an "aetheryte" and they are, likewise, usually much larger as well. But we don't live inside of them--we use them to travel along aether currents from place to place. Except it's instant rather than by foot or mount or ship. You just attune your aether to the aether in the crystal and follow it like a string to your next destination. So, in a sense you can use them to get home.
