Her face brightens at the sound of her name in familiar, friendly tones. "Kyle!" Hopefully, it isn't too much of a shock when she all but flings herself at him in a hug. She doesn't do so with just anyone, but there's something so deeply familiar-feeling to him that it's almost like finding one of her cousins for the first time in weeks or sometimes months when they got separated in Ravka. It happened a lot more than anyone liked to think about- The Saints always helped them find each other again in the end, and that's what mattered.
