[When Diana gets the invitation and reads that Nocwich is helping to broker a peaceful resolution between Thorne and the Free Cities, hope wells up in her chest. Though repairs in Libertas are going well, there are still refugees to resettle and so much to rebuild. It's obvious that tensions in Cadens have been very high, and she imagines that the same goes for Thorne; she hopes that meeting on neutral ground, as it is, will encourage a peaceful resolution.
She checks in at Oleuni Square with the rest of the Summoned, and can't hide her excitement at seeing so many others who, like her, had been displaced to this world. Even after months in this land, it is still comforting to know that in this, she is not alone. As the wait goes on for all of the Summoned to arrive, Diana parks herself at a table at one of the outdoor cafes, where she nurses a few glasses of wine as well as a spread of Nocwich delicacies, all the while watching other Summoned and Nocwich natives with interest. If she sees a familiar face, or even just someone who looks a little bit lost, she'll offer a smile and wave them over towards her table with one hand, using the other to pick up a piece of toast with something slathered atop it.]
Come, sit. You should try one of these--they're delightful.
[The carriage ride later is much less enjoyable than just sitting out in the square was. Unfortunately for whoever rides with her, Diana is fidgety the entire time, and keeps peeking out the window to see where they are going. She is clearly uncomfortable in what she describes multiple times as "a wretched box," and laments that she cannot get out and simply walk, or even ride one of the horses (spectral or no, they are still horses, and can presumably be ridden).
She isn't exactly green around the gills, but is very obviously uneasy when she finally asks:]

Do you think it will be much longer?
