"Maybe not, but it probably would be to the rest of us." Michael can disagree all he likes, although Istredd did get the feeling it wasn't entirely an insult. Hard to say as he told the man he was a difficult read. Istredd thought he had a good impassive expression. Once people got to know him better like Lucifer, he is much easier to read, as his emotions are strong simply dampened down.

"No, he was polite. He already knew who I was, apparently there are some rumors going on that I wasn't aware of."

Istredd was not ignoring it, he genuinely had no idea it was happening. And for Michael to have picked up on it, there must be more whispers than he thought. He has no idea of how to react to that. Or if he has an idea, he is ignoring that for certain.
