[ the greeting has steve smiling - easy, charming, and casual. they spent long enough together that aloy has seen the look from him and can probably tell that it's more familiar than anything, plus she has probably seen him in some uh. embarrassing situations when they were on the road together. so it's not like he has much of an ego to try and keep up with here. ]

Charades? [ he asks, before shaking his head with a laugh. ] Nah- not even close. I'm not really good at that game anyway, so I'm not sure why I tried. [ he says it without any real weight to it - like he may (or may not) be fully aware of at least some of his faults. ] Plus I'm pretty sure there's a like. Cultural disconnect going on. [ a shrug. ]
