[The shark is a novelty, at least--she's not used to living, breathing animals that are this large, even though she knows they existed, once. Right now, however, in this moment, there's not much room to dwell on it. She's got an arm full of sea creature, and she'd rather not trip on anything because she can't see around its bulk. The good news is that her request is filled fairly quickly, allowing her access to the water where she unceremoniously dumps the fish back in.
